The Church Building

The Church Building

The church as it is seen today was consecrated on the 29th September 1971, by the then Bishop of Exeter, the Rt Rev’d Robert Mortimer.  It is a flat-roofed rectangular building of rusticated red Devon cast stone, with large south-facing windows.

It is noted for its uncluttered liturgical space and its fine musical acoustic.  The church has a sophisticated sound system including a loop system for those with hearing impairment.  The church has a dedicated car park for church and church hall users.
