Weddings

Getting married is one of the most special things that can come our way in life.  A Christian service is particularly special as it involves making vows, or special promises, to love each other with the passion and commitment that God has for all of us.  St Andrew’s is a lovely Church to get married in, it is a light modern building and makes a lovely open setting for a marriage service.

The Church of England website is dedicated to all things wedding related and should provide you with a good starting point: www.yourchurchwedding.org

If you would like to find out more about getting married at St Andrew’s, please contact Joan Mitchell on 07950 784451 or email office@standrewstiverton.co.uk

Banns of Marriage

Most people get married in church after banns have been read in the main service, usually on three consecutive Sundays during the three months before the wedding.  Banns must be read in the parish church where you live, as well as the church in which you are getting married, if that is different.

If you live in our parish, but are getting married by Banns elsewhere, please contact Joan Mitchell on 07950784451 or email office@standrewstiverton.co.uk
